Help bring clean water and meal to children in Sri Lanka.

Healthy children, healthy futures is our latest initiative to support children in rural Sri Lanka to be healthy, active and well. We want all children to enjoy a healthy and happy childhood and to lay a foundation for lifelong health and well-being.

Many children in rural Sri Lanka go to school hungry or do not go to school because they lack the energy on an empty stomach. In some cases, families struggle to make the budget stretch, and they are sadly forced to decide between providing daily necessities for their children or sending them to school.

The goals of the project are to ensure:

• children have access to healthier food and clean water

• parents can focus on providing essential items children need to return to school

• more opportunities to be active throughout the day.

Monthly giving is the most effective way to help the children and families who need it most.

These unprecedented events make it harder for poor parents to ensure their kids get enough nutrition. Yet, nutrition can be lifesaving for children at this stage.

The Life You Can Save

Healthy children, healthy futures program strongly focuses on creating supportive environments for healthy eating and active living and providing necessities for kids to attend school. If children are forced to drop out of school and work, they are being deprived of their childhood and right to an education. This makes it increasingly difficult to break the cycle of poverty.

Our approach is based on a fundamental belief that education will provide children with pathways out of poverty. Furthermore, by developing the leadership potential of our children, leaders will emerge that will create generational change and a better future for Sri Lanka.
